Further growth for
OZ Bin Cleaning
After months of hard work and intense negotiations, the
OZ Bin Cleaning brand has been strengthened further with the sale of two new
Master Licences
in Australia.
The existing Master Licence holders for New South Wales, Mark and Penny Campbell,
have doubled their commitment to the Company by also purchasing the Master Licence
for the state of Victoria.
“ Mark and Penny have already proven their ability as successful Masters
with how they have developed and established their business. Having worked closely
with OZ since they joined in 2001, a strong relationship has been formed and
it was therefore an easy decision to grant their request to expand their business
into Victoria,” says Mark Harvey, OZ Managing Director.
Also joining the network are Gary and Mary Kellett, who have purchased the Master
Licence for Queensland.
“ We were impressed by the amount of time and detail that Gary and Mary
went to find a business that they believed would be successful in Australia.
They are strong advocates of franchising in that we all work together and support
each other in developing our businesses,” added Mr Harvey.
The Kelletts, who are looking forward to a long successful relationship with
OZ said: “The strength of the OZ brand and the success of the network in
the UK made the decision to join OZ an easy one. Having looked at all the bin
cleaners in the UK, OZ stood out from the rest, and it was clear they were the
market leaders.
“ Having had the benefit of speaking to some franchisees in the UK it just
confirmed what our research had told us – that OZ was unique in it’s
approach to franchising, and their support and knowledge was on a different level
to the rest.”
Having joined OZ in 2001, New South Wales and Victoria Master Licence holder
Mark Campbell admits it has been a tough introduction: “The first two years
were difficult as we not only had a new business but we were also struggling
to develop a new concept – the hard work and commitment is definitely paving
our way. The success we have enjoyed, in particular, the last 18 months has been
phenomenal.
“ Our biggest problem now is finding a way to slow down and enjoy every
step to success. The Australian market has developed a unique style, different
to the UK operation, but we must stress this has never affected the support and
commitment all the staff at OZ have given and continue to give us. We are certain
that had we joined another network our business would not be in the superior
position it is in today. Our commitment and belief is proven in the recent purchase
of Victoria.”
It is precisely these kind of attributes profiled by their Australian colleagues
that OZ look for when awarding Master Licences and it has proven to be a winning
formula.
The success, stability and reputation of the UK network has been instrumental
in giving these new Master Licence holders the confidence in purchasing and developing
the OZ brand in their part of the world.
With each new success gained overseas the OZ brand is strengthened and thus increases
their dominance of the market place, which ultimately has a positive impact on
existing OZ Franchisees.
“ OZ is now in its strongest ever position and we must use this platform
to further raise the profile of the company and continue to improve the service
we offer to our customers,” says Mark Harvey.
