OZ Bin Cleaning have received industry
recognition in the Best Emerging Business Category
of the Redland Chamber of Commerce 15th Annual Business Achievement
Awards night held on November 4th in Queensland.
Gary & Mary Kellett, who are Master Licence Holders
for OZ Bin Cleaning in Queensland, were selected as finalists
in their category just 18 months after launching their business.
“
Entries for the awards are initially submitted either by
a customer or the business itself. The business is then required
to complete a more detailed nomination which provides a summary
of the operation, success, strategies, planning, etc.
This was submitted for analysis by the selection and judging panel consisting
of business and industry specialists T.A. Nguyen from the Dept of State Development,
Innovation and Technology, G. Waugh from Price Cooper Waterhouse and well known
business identity Peter Searson. As an added check on the judging process a professional “mystery
shopper” organisation was engaged to undertake reviews.
Chamber President Greg Watson said those selected as finalists had exhibited
outstanding examples of good business practice that had shown that they had assembled
the ingredients for continued growth and improvement.
“
These are the people who have set goals and go beyond them.
They do not dwell on negatives. They have confidence and
the vision to see beyond the obvious and grasp the future” Mr
Watson said.
“
We are delighted at having been selected as finalists by
this high profile judging panel. Their evaluation of our
business reinforces to us that this is just the start of
OZ Bin Cleaning’s success in Queensland,” said
Gary Kellett.
